Is it better to go to a certain park on one day than another? And if so, how do I find this out? We will be going the last week in March with a 1.5 year old, 4 and 6 year old. Thanks

    Hi April,

There are lots of approaches to your question. Some people want to save the Magic Kingdom for last because they think small kids will be disappointed by the other parks if they see the MK first.

Some people want to prioritize their dining, and will visit whichever park they were able to get dining reservations at each day.

Some people love to take advantage of early morning extra magic hours, while others try to avoid them. Much of this is personal preference.

However, what I think you're really asking is, "Are there days when one park is less crowded than another park." And the answer to this is "yes."

The best resources to figure out this information is an independent website called touringplans.com. (Full disclosure: I occasionally write for this website, but I loved it and recommended it long before I wrote there.) Touringplans is run by some statistician folks who have done tons of research on crowd movement patterns at the parks. With this data, they've creating the "crowd calendar" the crowd calendar projects  which park will be the least busy each day, relative to the other parks. There is a small fee for the data (reduced if you own a copy of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World), but if it saves you a bit of time, then it could be well worth it.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
