What is better for FastPass- Jungle Cruise or Pirates of the Caribbean. For a different day, Under the Sea, Tea Cups or Buzz Lightyear? I already have Peter Pan, Mine Train, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. Am I missing any other big ones?

    Hi Barbra!

Choosing and planning your FastPass options for a Walt Disney World vacation is an important part of your planning process. The Magic Kingdom theme park does not have a tiered level for FastPasses and they have far more attractions that offer this privilege so choosing just three per day can be daunting.

I would definitely choose the Jungle Cruise for your FastPass as their load and unload time is much longer then Pirates and thus the lines will grow longer faster for standby guests. Even if you have a line at the Pirates it will move faster then the same line at the Jungle Cruise.

When deciding between your next three options it is a little harder. From past experience you will find that Buzz Lightyear will have the bigger demand over the other two. That does not mean you can’t find lines at them all but more guests will reach out and secure FastPasses for Buzz. You are more likely to be able to get that 4th FastPass on any day once you have done the other three at the Tea Cups or Under the Sea.

I am a big Haunted Mansion fan so would also look into getting that as a FastPass during my days. If you like the wild coasters you can’t forget Space Mountain too. Although I generally don’t like to use a FastPass for a character meet and greet I will use one for meeting Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theater. He will talk and he is such a personable Mickey making this a real treat for all ages. He might even do a magic trick for you.

With this new FastPass system you will find lines at even the less popular attractions so choosing what you like best is the important part of the experience. To enjoy the others be at the park early when lines are shorter or during the parade and fireworks times.
