Hello! What is the best way to get to the Boardwalk for Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno, from Animal Kingdom Kidani Village, using Disney transportation, and how much travel time should we allow? Excited about our upcoming October trip to the World!

    Hi Kathy,

What a wonderful morning you have planned. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a fantastic resort, with rich and beautiful decor as well as so many exotic animals to view. Disney's BoardWalk is a great area, with so much hustle, bustle, and entertainment! It sounds like you are heading to the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno. This new character meal is sure to be delightful, with appearances by characters such as Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled, and Ariel and Prince Eric from The Little Mermaid.

I think that the best choice to get from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to Disney's BoardWalk is to hop on a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there, you can take a relaxing boat ride to Disney's BoardWalk. You can also walk from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's BoardWalk; however, this is a fairly long walk, probably about 20 minutes. Another choice would be to take a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, and then another bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to Disney's BoardWalk Inn. In either case, I would allow yourself up to 90 minutes since you may have to wait a bit for each type of transportation. Another option is to take a taxi. The cast members in the lobby of your resort can call a taxi for you. This would of course come at an extra cost; however, taxis around Walt Disney World tend to be fairly reasonable. In this case I would allow yourself 30 minutes.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Kathy!
