What is the best type of clothing to pack for a trip during the Thanksgiving time? Shorts, jeans? I want to make sure that we are dressed appropriately for the weather but still comfortable throughout the day!

Susan you will be traveling at a time of year when some days will be very warm and then the next day can be COLD!  I checked one weather service long range forecast and early in the week the highs will be in the upper 70's. Thanksgiving day then drops to the low 70's for a high and the three days following the highs will only be in the mid 60's.  The lows will range in the 50's.  This can change but it will give you an idea of possible weather during your vacation.

I suggest you think layers and capris or jeans might be better then taking a lot of shorts.  Since most families head out to the parks early and stay late you will absolutely need a wrap of some sort for those hours where the sun has not had time to warm the air yet.  We traveled many years at this time and love it but seemed to build up a large supply of Disney sweatshirts because we would forget to take along a jacket!
