When is the best time to visit the park when it is cooler

    Hi Wendy!

Well, it depends on what your definition of 'cooler' is!  Being from Texas, I tend to enjoy highs in the 70s--not too hot, not too cold...based on that definition, I'd suggest early to mid December, (before Christmas), January (after New Years), and February.  Early to mid November (before Thanksgiving) can be nice as well--average highs run around 78 degrees.  These are also times (conveniently enough) where crowd levels are generally lower than other times of the year (historically speaking), so you have the added benefit of cooler temperatures and smaller crowds!

Also remember, these are only averages, so you can find days in November (for example) with highs in the upper 80s, or days in December when high is only 50 degrees.

I hope you found this information helpful!  Please visit us again if we can help you in any way!
