When is the best time to go to disney world Florida? And what are some tips and tricks to have the best time possible?

    Hi Audrey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds as if this might be your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If so, hooray!

The "best" time to go depends on what matters most for you and, if going with family, your family. I have gone during every season and almost every month of the year. We always face crowds, no matter when we go, but online crowd calendars might be helpful to use as you plan. For us, May was a good time to take our girls on their first trip.We were able to see the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival. March has also been a great time of year to go - the weather was lovely and the crowds manageable.

We also consider other events that might be happening at the Walt Disney World Resort. Those events can affect the crowd levels during our visit. The week of Christmas has historically been crowded. If you visit in late November and early December, you can still experience the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort activities and the crowds may be less intense than they are the week of Christmas. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and The Candlelight Processional are two of my favorite holiday events!

Audrey, to have the best time possible - plan ahead. Make advanced dining reservations and Fast Pass+ selections. If you try to "wing it," you may wind up standing in lines for hours for everything you want to ride or not being able to have a table-service meal at a time that works for your family. Choose your resort hotel wisely. We always stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and we check a resort map to be sure we request a room close to dining, a pool and/or transportation.

    Happy planning!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
