when is the best time to go to disney world

It really depends on your travel preferences, Joseph.  For instance, are you looking for a time of year when crowds are historically low?  Or are you looking to enjoy one of the many special events hosted by Disney throughout the year?  Is weather a priority?  All of these things can play a part in your vacation.

Let me touch on some of those for you.  If you're looking to enjoy low crowds, the rule of thumb is to plan your vacation for a time that school is in session.  Avoiding the summer months, spring break and the holidays are smart tactics for guests looking to avoid heavy crowds.  Another key indicator of low crowds is Disney's value season.  Typically, prices are a bit lower during less crowded times of the year.  Vacationers who visit during the months of January, February and late August through September typically benefit from low crowd levels.

Another consideration might be special events.  A listing of those can be viewed by clicking HERE

If weather is your primary concern, I hear Orlando is gorgeous in the spring!  Good luck with your decision.
