Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Angela! It’s so great to see you here!
In my personal opinion, Fall is an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World Resort for so many reasons! First, for the
Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival. Second,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (or
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which starts in November), and third, there is great weather and often some Special Offers! There are a few key factors to determine when is best for YOUR family, of course. Keep in mind that early Fall/late Summer is hurricane season and this may affect the enjoyment of your vacation. That being said, my family visited during a tropical storm and still had a magical time! You may also want to consider crowd levels. During holiday weekends, such as Thanksgiving weekend, crowds tend to swell as everyone wants a little piece of magic for their holidays! If you are looking for a more “Halloweenish” vacation, then October is a great time to visit! Want to see the Holiday decorations, visit Santa, and hum Christmas Carols- then November is for you! Plan it right, and you can even experience BOTH as the transformation into the holiday season tends to happen soon after Halloween in Magic Kingdom Park.
Even during the busiest of times, with FastPass+, Advanced Dining Reservations and a little planning, it shouldn’t feel crowded or hectic.
I hope this helps you in deciding the best time to visit, as ANY time is a great time to visit! Have a magical day and please come and visit us again soon,
Jen
