What is the best things to do with a 2yr old at Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Teshanna,

Thank so much for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask your question. We're so glad you're here!

When you ask a mom if a preschooler what a 2 year old should experience in Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, she gets all giddy and excited. I could write 3 pages of "must-do" activities, attractions and shows for a 2 year old. My little girl enjoyed her time within the park when she was just 2 years old, and still talks about some of those experiences, even as a more "mature" 4 year old.

I have to recommend that you spend time enjoying each and every parade you can during your day within Magic Kingdom. They are tailored to kids of all ages, with toddlers and preschoolers viewing each one with a bit of magic in their eyes. The new Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade features special Disney characters like Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Princess Merida from Brave, and even Maleficent in her fire-breathing dragon form.

Fantasyland and New Fantasyland are also on the must-do list. We make sure to visit Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Peter Pan's Flight during every visit. It's now a tradition!

While I could list all of our favorites, the Walt Disney World website has created a special page for parents that are planning a vacation for younger princes and princesses. Take a look here: Planning for Preschool Kids and Little Ones.

I hope this answered your question, Teshanna. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
