    Taira Asked

what is the best thing to do with my daughter for her 1 year old birthday?

Hi, Tiara! When my little biscuit was one, he looooooved the characters. And Dumbo. And Pooh. And Peter Pan's Flight. Fact of the matter is that he was in heaven in Disney World, so you already have a head start on giving her the best birthday ever. And you've set the bar pretty high.

I'd spend the morning in Magic Kingdom. Make an advance dining reservation to dine at Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends an hour before park opening. On your way into the park, pick up a birthday button for her to wear so others are well informed that it's her special, special day (she may have trouble articulating it otherwise.) Keep walking down Main Street, and before you hang a left for Crystal Palace, ask a PhotoPass photographer to take some pictures of you and her and some pictures of just her. You can then frame your favorite in a "My 1st Birthday" picture frame.

She'll love seeing Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace for breakfast. If she's into human food by that point, she can eat off your plate and you won't have to pay anything extra. Finish up breakfast right before / right as the park opens. Walk on through the castle and then take Fantasyland by storm. Go Dumbo, Pooh, Peter Pan and small world. If she's still got steam in her, venture into Adventureland for Magic Carpets and Jungle Cruise. Try to fit in the Move It! Shake it! Celebrate it! Street Party, which is usually at 11:00 a.m.

Then go on back to your resort for a nap to recuperate from the awesome birthday morning.
