    Best shoes for bad feet

    Hi there Lisa,

Oh boy can I relate!  My feet hurt, my ankles swell, and I can get pretty miserable.  I'm a Florida resident and Annual Passholder.  I'm telling you this so that you can get a feel of how much I visit Disney theme parks (constantly).  I've tried everything!  New shoes, old shoes, sandals, Crocs, changing my socks throughout the day, fat socks, thin socks, EVERYTHING!

I have found that the hands down, best results have come from Skechers brand shoes that have memory foam; the key to comfortable feet!  The good thing is that Skechers shoes come in many different styles so you'll be able to find something that suits you.  In the summer, I go for a lighter shoe, in the cooler months I go for a slip on sneaker.  I really think that this will help you with all of the walking.

Another tip, I always have moleskin in my bag just in case there's a sore spot on my feet caused by rubbing against my shoes.  If you're planning on getting on a water ride, you can also do what I usually do.  Carry a cheap pair of plastic, light weight flip flops to change into for those attractions.  There is nothing more uncomfortable than hiking in wet shoes all day.  YUCK!

I hope this helps Lisa.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
