What's the best way to save money for the parks and meals plans for 2 adults 2 children oldest one is 3 and the baby is one

    Hello Erin!

I'm definitely one always looking to stretch my Disney budget and save a Disney dollar or two here and there. I mean the more I can save on one trip, the more I have for another, right? But honestly, it's a much more enjoyable vacation when we aren't stressed or worried about how much it's going to cost.

The first recommendation I have is to check the Special Offers page frequently to see what kind of deals or discounts Disney is currently offering. Throughout the year they'll offer discounts on packages as well as room-only reservations and they can really be great.  Another tip is to look into going during non-peak season, usually late fall or early spring are the most affordable times. Depending on how many days you will be visiting and how much you typically eat, a Disney Dining plan may not make sense for your family. We often order groceries from online places, such as Garden Grocer, to have plenty of snacks to bring into the park with us or to even make a quick breakfast in the room before we head out.  It saves more of our dining budget for special Character Meals or Dining Experiences.

Saving for a Disney vacation is no easy task. My family has a spare change jar we all contribute to and love to watch grow. While it may not add up fast, it's fun to have a goal and work towards it. That combined with the tips above might just make your Disney trip more affordable than you realize. As I always say, keep pricing the possibilities and you might just be surprised.

I've definitely picked up a few other budget-friendly tips and tricks along the way, so if there is anything else I am able to assist you with, Erin, please let me know.
