What are some of the best restaurants to take a child who is a 1 year old too?

    Hi, Christy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your question has me reminiscing about my son's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort when he was just a toddler. Although he doesn't remember all the magic and wonder he experienced, I sure do! The pictures we captured from this vacation are some of my most cherished, so I highly suggest purchasing Memory Maker for your visit. I also remember how carefully I selected our dining reservations for that stay because I wanted our mealtimes to be as enjoyable as possible having a little one in tow.

The first thing I recommend is thinking about where you'll be each day because you want to select dining locations that are easy to get to since you'll have all your baby gear to transport. Something else to consider is whether or not your little one is comfortable with the Disney Characters coming to your table. If so, I highly recommend sprinkling in some Character Dining options like Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot, The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom and Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios is also a character dining experience with characters from Disney Junior during breakfast and lunch and Mickey and the gang at dinner. Be Our Guest Restaurant is a favorite of my family especially for lunch. We like to select a table in the ballroom near the picturesque window with the Christmas tree and falling snow. Biergarten Restaurant at Epcot is also a lot of fun with its lively music and dancing.

I hope these suggestions help, Christy! Please let us know if you need further help with your magical plans.
