What would be the best resorts to stay with an almost 4 year old? We would like to be able to access Magic Kingdom the quickest and easiest way? THANKS!

    Hi, Michele!

You really can't go wrong with any of the resorts at Walt Disney World; they are all kid-friendly, no matter how luxurious, exotic or high-end. They are all fabulous!

If you are looking for ease of transport between Magic Kingdom and your resort, however, I'd stay at one of the three resorts that are adjacent to the monorail beam. The beauty of this one feature is that when your little one is dozing in a stroller, you can simply wheel her out of MK, onto the monorail, then off of the monorail and right up into your resort room...she'll never even know the difference! :-)

These resorts are Disney's Contemporary Resort (and the adjacent Bay Lake Tower, a Disney Vacation Club Resort), Disney's Grand Floridian Resort (which is slated to open its DVC villas sometime in late 2013) and Disney's Polynesian Resort. Each of these three resorts is unique, with theming, dining and overall atmosphere reflecting the personality of the resort. The quickest access to Magic Kingdom at this time, though, is from either Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort or from Disney's Contemporary Resort itself. The walk from BLT or the Contemporary is about 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace, and it's a very straight, flat walk at that. We love having the option of riding the monorail or walking, depending on our mood, the time of day and the weather as well.

Disney's Polynesian Resort is truly tropical, so if your little one would love that, it's really just a quick monorail ride away as well. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is truly luxurious, with its Victorian decor, and there are many Character Dining experiences that you might want to sample there, too, even if not staying at that resort.

Send more questions as  you think of them, Michele; you know I love to help! :-)
