What is the best resort to stay at with a 2-year-old?

    Hi Amy!!!

Since I have a three and a half year old son, I can understand your question of what the best resort would be for a two year old.

My opinions here are based on location and transportation from the resort.  I would either recommend a Monorail Resort (Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa) or a resort on the water way between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios (Disney's Boardwalk Resort, Disney's Yacht and Beach Club, or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.)

A main advantage to these resorts, other than their outstanding locations, is that they each offer a different mode of transportation from their respective resorts.  If you stay at one of the Monorail Resorts you can take the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot.  The benefit of the Monorail vs. Disney Buses is that you don't have to take down your stroller when you get on.  This is such a huge benefit to my wife and me.

The same rule applies for the other resorts on the water way.  They each are served by the Friendship Boats.  You do not have to take down your stroller on these either and you can go either to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope this answers your question and helps guide you in selecting a resort for your future Walt Disney World Vacation!!

    Have a magical trip!!
