Which is the best property to stay at when you have a 5 year old who is a princess fanatic and is making her first trip to Disney? Trip will be in fall 2012.

    Hi Kate!

With a 5 year old and a princess fanatic, you will want to stay in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort if your budget allows.  There are three such resorts:  The Grand Floridian, the Contemporary (including Bay Lake Tower), and the Polynesian.  Bay Lake Tower is connected to the Contemporary and is a Disney Deluxe Villa (basically it is part of the Disney Vacation Club, but guests can stay there without being a DVC member).

I would recommend getting a Magic Kingdom view room at one of those resorts so that your princess can look out the window of you room and see Cinderella Castle.  There's no better way to start or end a day in Walt Disney World.  I personally would pick the Contemporary or the Polynesian, but all are excellent resorts.

Be sure to plan for some meal times with the Disney Princesses!  Popular restaurants with Disney Princess interactions are Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom, 1900 Park Fare (dinner) in the Grand Floridian, and Princess Storybook Dining in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot.  Advanced Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance and Disney Character Dining experiences are very popular; for example, if you are interested in dining inside the castle, you will want to make that reservation at the 180 day mark!

I hope this helps!   Write back if you have any more question!
