Best port adventures to do on a Caribbean cruise 2016 Disney dream in October with two girls that age of nine and eleven

Welcome aboard, Gable! With your two ports of call in the Bahamas, there are plenty of Port Adventures for your girls to enjoy. Both Castaway Cay and Nassau offer a variety of adventures for everyone!

My family really enjoyed our Nassau Port Adventures, but our favorite was probably the Dolphin Swim at Blue Lagoon. My daughter and I were in a small group of only about a few other people when we got to interact with, pet, and experience a push across the water from the two beautiful dolphins there. Then we spent a relaxing day on the beautiful Blue Lagoon beach before heading back to the ship. I highly recommend that Port Adventure for your girls if they like dolphins. If more of a laid back beach day is up your alley, the Blue Lagoon Beach Day is fabulous, and you still can pop by to visit the dolphins from the viewing areas.
For girls with a sweet tooth, check out the Graycliff Chocolatier in Nassau. Guests actually get to make chocolates by learning how to dip and glaze and fill molds. Of course you get to taste them as well!
Atlantis is a resort that is also a must-see in Nassau! There are plenty of adventures that include a visit there. If your girls like waterparks, check out Aquaventure waterpark at Atlantis. That pyramid slide with a finish through a clear tube that goes through the shark tank is a real treat! We've also enjoyed just visiting Atlantis for the day to explore the resort.
On Castaway Cay we love Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure where you'll get to pet and feed stingrays right on the shores of the island! Or, just rent bikes and go on a family ride to explore the paths around the island. Snorkeling in the snorkel lagoon is a treat with some Disney surprises to spot under the waves too!

    Have fun planning!
