What is the best plan to make for a week vacation at Disney? Can someone post an itinerary of daily park activities?

    Hi Kathy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am always thrilled to greet a fellow North Carolinian. How exciting to plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

First, I suggest that you check the park hours for the dates of your visit. Although the park hours for the dates of your visit are not posted yet, they should be posted soon! The park hours will help you with times for park opening and closing, parades and fireworks. When you get to the parks, you will find a printed Times Guide at each park to give you a list of the daily shows. On our last visit, we used the Times Guide in Epcot to find showtimes for the Voices of Liberty.

Of course, you could just plan your days around your Fast Pass+ selections and dining reservations. We typically do pre-parking opening dining reservations and then do our first three Fast Pass+ selections in the morning. I suggest that you use My Disney Experience to add plans for certain experiences. If you go to "My Itinerary," you can "Add Plans." If, for example, you click on "Meet Characters," a list of available character experiences will appear along with the times each character is available for that particular day. Just remember that adding plans does not mean you have a reservation. It simply means that you plan to try do that activity at a certain time. Once you make your Fast Pass+ selections, those will also appear in your itinerary.  A Fast Pass+ selection functions like a reservation time to ride and allows you to skip the long standby line.

Kathy, we typically do five day base tickets, one park per day with two days at Magic Kingdom. While there is no daily itinerary I can post here, I hope this helps!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
