Hi, Rachelle!  I think the reason you're getting so confused with opinions is because it really is a personal preference kind of thing.  I'll tell you what usually works best for my family.

At home, my girls are not big breakfast eaters.  They might grab a bowl of cereal or some toast, but they typically do not like a big meal until after they are wide awake for a bit.  When we visit Walt Disney World, I usually give them a smaller breakfast at the hotel - maybe some instant oatmeal or a cereal bar.  Lunch is usually our main meal, as the girls are pretty hungry by then, and it is a great way to take a break from the heat of the day.  We usually eat at whatever theme park we're at that day, but I know many people have a few groceries delivered to their resort and go back to make lunch.  It let's the kids rest and maybe use the pool, and then you can head back out to do some things later in the day.

You'll have to decide what might work best for your family.  If your kids need a big breakfast in the morning, you might want to head out and find a good, hearty meal at the food court or one of the many restaurants.  Save the lighter meals for later in the day.

    I hope this helps!
