    Katey from CA Asked

Is there a best way to plan around naps with 2 day hopper passes?

    Hi Katey!

Thanks again for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With so many places to explore and things to see at the Disneyland Resort, naps for your little ones are a bare necessity! I have noticed that my young son became over-stimulated easily with the new and interesting surroundings at the Resort, and his nap schedule wasn't quite the same as back home. We looked for cues that signaled he was tired and were able to work his naps easily into our day. We learned quickly that when traveling with our little guy, we would have to be much more flexible if we wanted him to nap and stay happy. This sometimes meant foregoing a FASTPASS reservation or taking turns on some attractions while he slept. My son does very well sleeping in his stroller at the parks, and as such, we use his nap time to explore the parks in a more leisurely fashion. Sometimes my husband and I can even have a relaxing drink while he sleeps in his stroller next to us!

We have also traveled with family members whose children prefer to sleep in the hotel room for their naps. If this is the case, I would recommend staying as close to Disneyland Resort property as possible. This is one of the many reasons we love staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel is connected to Disney California Adventure Park making trips back to the room an absolute breeze! With a Park Hopper Ticket, we have found that even if we are in Disneyland Park, it is faster to enter Disney California Adventure Park to access Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa than walking around to the entrance from the Downtown Disney District. It's a great perk of having this Park Hopper Ticket.

    I hope this helps!
