where are the best places to get snacks? and What all snacks can you get with the dinning plan? We leave next June with our 4 kids in tow and one of daughters will be celebrating her 5th b-day there.

    Hi Jennifer,

There are great snacks to be found all throughout WDW and almost all of them are covered by the Disney Dining Plan.  My favorite snacks can be found at Goofy's Candy Co in Downtown Disney.  There you can get apples, marshmallows, and graham crackers dipped in chocolate or caramel.  Then you can add all sorts of candies on to them.

At your resort you will be able to get bags of pretzels and potato chips, candy bars, muffins, cookies, bagels, danish, yogurt, whole fruits, and assorted fruit cups.  At the gift shop at the Contemporary you can also use your snack credits to get squares of fudge.  Even if your not staying there, it is only a short monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom.

In the theme parks you will be able to munch on popcorn, soft pretzels, ice cream, frozen chocolate covered bananas, etc.  One of my favorite not so healthy theme parks snacks are ice cream coke floats.  I usually get them by the counter service restaurant adjacent to the Flying Carpet Ride in the Magic Kingdom.

If you think you'll get a soft pretzel while in WDW make sure you try the ones in the German Pavilion at Epcot.  The pretzels there are out of this world.

Enjoy and make sure you register your daughter's birthday on the Disney website.

    Have a great trip
