    Best place to watch fireworks?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Paula.

I love "Disneyland Forever" fireworks spectacular that is shown nightly during the Diamond Celebration. There are several great places to enjoy the fireworks, and if you ask different Disneyland park attendees, you'd get varied answers as to where is the "best place". Most will agree the best view of the fireworks is directly in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Expect to spend quite some time "reserving" your spot in front of the castle. While some Guests opt to stake out on benches or sidewalks along Main Street, U.S.A. hours prior to "Paint the Night" parade and "Disneyland Forever" that follows after, my family and I prefer to enjoy dinner and rides prior to the shows. Then when it is time for the parade, we head towards "it's a small world" and enjoy from the terrace. Fireworks are shot from behind Toontown and from Sleeping Beauty Castle, and this area allows you to see both sets of fireworks. Look to "it's a small world" and you'll see the light projections.

Another suggestion is to book a "Paint the Night" dining package at Blue Bayou Restaurant, where you'll receive vouchers for reserved viewing area located on Main Street, U.S.A. near the train station. You'll be able to catch great views of the parade. Following this will be the "Disneyland Forever" fireworks. During the transition between the two, walk down Main Street, U.S.A. towards Sleeping Beauty Castle and find a spot on the street to catch the fireworks. It'll be crowded but from here, not only will you see the fireworks, all around you on the buildings will have light projections in sync with the music.

I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, Paula. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
