where is the best place to park to get to the magic kingdom

Hi Larry! It sounds like you are heading to Walt Disney World for a fun day at the Magic Kingdom Theme Park.

Each of the Disney parks will have a designated parking lot where guests may park for the day. The Parking Fees to park is $20 for non Disney resort guests. If you are staying at a Disney resort the parking is complimentary. There is also an option of Preferred Parking which would be another $20 making parking $40 a day but it does guarantee close in parking.

Once you have parked in the Magic Kingdom parking lot you will take a tram to either the Ferry or the Monorail which is the last leg to get you to the Magic Kingdom entrance. Many families choose one way to go over and the other way to return so they can experience both.

Parking at a nearby resort is not allowed. Those parking lots are strictly designated to those resort guests only.

Have a great day in the park!
