What is the best place to character dine with older kids? It is our FIRST time at Disney & my kids will be 11y girl and 9y boy (& 8mos) at the time. We want to do character dining, but not Pooh or anything like that. Suggestions?

Noelle, welcome to the Moms Panel.  Congratulations on your FIRST vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!  Oh, you better have your camera ready because you will make so many magical memories!!

I think Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be a great character experience for your family.  You can't go wrong with Mickey and his pals.  Chef Mickey's is a buffet restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner.  If you choose breakfast, be sure to get some Mickey Waffles!

Reservations are recommended here.  To make reservations, book online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE up to 180 days prior to your visit.

If you have more questions, please ask away!

    Have a magical day!
