Where is the best place to book for character dining to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisey, Goofy and Pluto

    Hi Sherry!

My top two choices to meet the gang are at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I'll tell you about my all time favorite.  It's definitely Minnie's Springtime Dine at Hollywood & Vine.  I was there just a week ago and had such an amazing time with my Moms Panel friends, Leslie & Stephanie!   You will have the opportunity to have your photo taken with one of the characters as soon as you enter the restaurant.  In our case it was Daisy Duck.  During the (really yummy) all you care to eat buffet the rest of the characters took turns visiting your table.  Don't worry about missing any of them while you're at the buffet.  They do several rounds throughout dinner.  I loved that they all took the time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with each one of us.  They even let us take selfies with them!  Here's a tip: get late seating for dinner.  We were there until right before closing and Mickey and Minnie stopped to talk to us for quite some time...Donald & Goofy did too; when they stopped chasing each other around the restaurant...seriously, they were RUNNING!!!  As we were leaving we were able to get a group picture with all of them!  It really was a wonderful time, and I'm smiling as I answer your question.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  I'm wishing you the most wonderful, pixie dusted visit to Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
