What are the best parks to go to with a 1 year old, 4 year old and 9 year old? Also what is the fast-pass? And what are blackout dates?

    Hi Ashley!

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking your question. When I saw the ages of the little kiddos you mentioned, I just had to answer. I have a 5 month old, 4 year old and 9 year old!

When thinking about the ages you listed, Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom seem perfect for your teeny tiny Disney-loving crew. Magic Kingdom is the park that's loved by all. There will be attractions and shows that the 4 year old and 9 year old will love, as well as classic attractions that everyone can enjoy, like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and it's a small world. If the 1 year old is toddling, spend a little time at Casey Jr. Splash and Soak Station, located right next to The Barnstormer. It's a great place for kids to run around, get wet, and have a blast!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is just as spectacular for this age group. It's a larger park, with lots of areas to explore; great for younger children. Be sure to take the little ones to see the shows! Our family just loves Festival of the Lion King. Since you have a younger one, I suggest selecting a FastPass+ for the show. You'll get prime seats in the front, which will make it easier to enter the theater, and leave early if need be.

FastPass+ selections are a new way to lock in your must-do attractions, shows and experiences. You can skip the Standby queue and get right to the fun! Here's more information on FastPass+FastPass+ Planning.

Blackout dates are certain times of the year when special offers, like free dining or Resort Hotel discounts, are not available. These are usually annotated on the special offer page.

I hope I answered all of your questions, Ashley. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask anytime!
