What is the best option for 6 adults - military rate - and one child. We have never been to Disney and are wanting to go this fall

    Tammi:

My understanding is that the military rates for rooms after October 3, 2015 have not been released yet, however, if your trip is in early fall, you can call Disney direct at (407) 939-7830 to check availbility and rates. (Unfortunately, you cannot book using military rates through Disney's online reservation system.) Addtionally, any Disney-certified travel agent can also help you with military rates.

The 4-Day Military Promotional Ticket that Disney currently offers also runs through October 3, and Disney has not released information on the ticket that may replace it as of now. For several years, however, Disney has been offering a military ticket promotion, so I don't see why they wouldn't again. We'll just need to wait a little longer into the summer months for the information. You can keep your eye on Disney's Special Offers page or check out one of my favorite non-Disney websites www.militarydisneytips.com.

The military discount for both room rates and tickets at Disney is unrivaled. Free Dining promotions and other discounts that you'll find for Disney simply don't add up to the savings you'll find when coupling the room discount with the Military Promotional Ticket. So save yourself some research and just keep your eyes peeled for the offers when they're released by mid-summer like in years past.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
