    What's the best moderate Hotel

    Bonjour Eric,

I'm always amazed by the variety of answers that my fellow panelists and I have whenever a Guest asks us to name our favourite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, restaurant, attraction, entertainment experience... A big part of the reason why my family chooses a Disney Parks vacation year after year (sometimes several times per year) is because of the variety of experiences and memories that we can make. No two visits are ever the same!

Keeping that in mind (and the fact that this is only MY opinion!), my two favourite "moderate" Walt Disney World Resorts are Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

I love the size of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Because it's not as huge as the other moderate-level Resorts, the bus stop, main lobby, dining options, pool and other amenities are a short walk away. Plus, it's only about a 15 minute walk to get to the amenities and options that are available at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The biggest drawback that I find for this Resort is, while the theming is quite beautiful in some places, it's not as immersive or, dare I say it, magical as some other Resort options.

Because Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a convention hotel, I find that it has far more dining options than any other moderate resort. The Dig Site Pool is also really cool. I just love the overall theming and feeling at that Resort - it really feels like another world. But, that theming and immersiveness comes at a price: the Resort is absolutely HUGE and it can be quite a hike to get to The Dig Site Pool or to any of the dining options.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Lynne
