Best way to meet the most Characters as possible? I want to meet and take pictures with as many characters as I can. First time Disney goer and will be there on my Anniversary what are some absolute musts for my husband and i to do? Any tips or advice

    Hi Sal,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you all are celebrating your anniversary at the Walt Disney World Resort! First trips are special, even more so when you celebrate your happily ever after.

One of our strategies is to make advanced dining reservations for character meals. To meet princesses, we dine at Cinderella's Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Cinderella's Happily Ever After dinner at 1900 Park Fare. If you dine at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall before the park opens, you can go visit with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus before the line gets too long. Of course, we have to see Mickey Mouse and the Gang at Chef Mickey's, we get tickled watching the Pooh-rade in honor of Friendship Day at The Crystal Palace and we love seeing Safari Donald and Friends at Tusker House. If you want to see Disney Junior characters, stop by Hollywood & Vine.

Of course, no visit would be complete for us without seeing our favorite Star Wars characters at Star Wars Launch Bay. On our last visit, we engaged in an epic staring contest with Kylo Ren and we giggled with Chewbacca. We stood in line for about 25 minutes to see Kylo Ren and 20 minutes to see Chewbacca.

Sal, since this is your first trip, I would definitely suggest that you do a few parades and nighttime shows - Happily Ever After is my favorite fireworks show and so perfect for your anniversary celebration. Also take some time to see Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade and the Rivers of Light Show in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Finally, make sure you book your expedition to Pandora. Flying on the back of an ikran is AMAZING. Sivako! Rise to the Challenge!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
