what is the best itme of year to go on the Disney Cruise, caribbean western itinerary? Thanks

    Hi, Kathleen!

Congratulations on considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation to the Western Caribbean -- with such a variety of ports of call, this is the ultimate in island-hopping!

For me and my family, anytime is truly the right time to take any Disney cruise, but one's schedule and budget are key determining factors, too. For Caribbean cruises, I like to sail when it's cold and gray back home. Nothing perks up the winter blues like some golden time in the warm sun! If this is your choice, you'll sail aboard the beautiful Disney Magic next year.

I also enjoy the late spring and summer in the Caribbean since my kids are most likely out of school and can join us without dirty looks from teachers. In this case, you could sail to the ports of call in 2012 aboard the new Disney Fantasy. You've got some great choices!

I encourage you to go to the Find a Cruise Page of DisneyCruise.com to plug in your personal information, explore your options and receive quotes and availability. I love entering various options and dreaming of future cruises there. I hope this helps navigate the right direction for you.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
