    Sherrae from GA Asked

What is the best items for my teens to pack when they go to the park? I am planning my daughters surprise sweet sixteen and I could use some help.

    Hi Sherrae!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This sounds like an awesome surprise for your Princess!  I am getting ready to take four teenage boys to Walt Disney World for spring break and they are all so excited.  Who says Disney is only for little kids, right?!

This seems like a no-brainer, but if she has a phone, that would be top priority.  She is going to want to capture her special day with photos to be able to share with her friends.  She can even take selfies with the characters!  That's what my boys like to do.

She could also take a special shirt or other item to have the characters sign. This would be a great way to commemorate her birthday. (don't forget a marker)

You could pick up a Disney Gift Card, prior to the trip, to give her so she can buy some special souvenirs at the parks.

Be sure to ask a Disney World Cast Member for a special birthday button for her to wear.  She will be greeted throughout the day when she has it on.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
