Best hotel for parents w/ 2yr old? GF and villas too expensive. Suggestions? Looking for deluxe or moderate resort with good food options for young toddler as well as adults.

    Ann,

The right hotel makes all the difference!

So there are a few ways to go. Let me give you a few ideas, and write me back if you want to discuss further!

    Deluxe Recommendation: Animal Kingdom Lodge
This resort has won all sorts of awards. If you can overlook the annoyance that unlike with all other Deluxe resorts, you don't get access to even one park by boat, monorail, or foot, then it is your best choice. It is also typically one of the lower cost Deluxe Resorts. The food is great too. Mara is perhaps the best counter service location in a resort, and Boma is a great buffet with standards for the 2 year old, and innovative options for the adults.

Deluxe Alternatives: Beach Club, Yacht Club, and BoardWalk Inn
These all have quick access to the Epcot World Showcase, good pools, and you can boat to 2 of the four parks.

    Moderate Recommendation: Port Orleans Riverside
More food choices than Port Orleans French Quarter, and you can also boat to the Downtown Disney area for more selection. Since transportation is fairly even across all resorts, I think this is your best bet!

Moderate Alternative: Port Orleans French Quarter
You still can boat to Downtown Disney. But what you gain a more subdued environment in this resort, you lose in amenities and on-site dining options.

    I hope that this helps?

    Have a magical vacation!
