My best friend & I are planning our first Disney trip for Oct/Nov 2019. We're both huge Disney fans, but don't want to be in full immersion mode every day of our trip. What non-park activities would you recommend for people in their mid-20s?

Hello Rebecca and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question about you and your best friends 1st ever trip to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm so excited for you and your pal and can just imagine how often you get together to chat over your magical plans for October/November 2019, I know that for me the route planning stage is every bit as fun as actually arriving at the destination.
Two of my own children are of a similar age to you and I know they enjoy taking time out from the parks, on your behalf I asked them what they would suggest as fun non-theme park ideas...
    - From parasailing to wake boarding Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre is the place for those in search of wild-water fun!
    - How about trying to hang loose at one of the Surfing Programs at Typhoon Lagoon
    - Visit the Tri-Circle-D Ranch and take a horseback trail ride into the wilderness. Yeehaa!
    - Try out a Segway X2 on a Wilderness Back Trail Adventure  Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
    - Last but not least (& certainly my favourite pass-time) shopping and exploring Disney Springs where you can rent a Dream Boat from THE BOATHOUSE, see Disney Springs and Orlando from aloft in Aerophile -The World Leader in Balloon Flight and so much more!
I hope I've provided you with some magical inspiration.
