    Alisa from CT Asked

What are the best excursions for a 4 year old? We are taking the Fantasy Western Carribean Cruise. I am not sure which excursions to do on Falmouth or Grand Caymen.

    Hi Alisa,

Thanks for sailing by.  When we went to Falmouth on a recent voyage, my family selected the Deluxe Jewel Beach Break Port Adventure, which was appropriate for all ages, and can accommodate your little one.  This adventure starts with a bus ride (approximately fifty minutes) to a lovely resort, where we were able to relax on the beach, enjoy one of several fresh-water pools, participate in organized activities and games, and have a delicious buffet lunch.  The adventure was relaxing and allowed us to pick activities based on our interests, which makes it a great option when traveling with a young child in my opinion. I also had no problem finding shade, which may also be important to you with a small child in tow.  On Grand Cayman, my boys loved the Atlantis Submarine Expedition (which accommodates children as young as four years old.)  On this adventure, you will walk a few minutes to the submarine dock, and then take a ten minute boat transfer to the actual submarine. You will have an opportunity to see amazing coral, and barrel sponges as well as tons of fish and other incredible sea creatures.  The ride is very smooth and the water is incredibly clear, making this one of our family's Port Adventure favorites.  Alisa, I am a big fan of Disney Cruise Line Port Adventures, as I find them to be very well-organized, very safe and hassle-free.  I have been traveling alone with my two boys since they were your child's age, and have always enjoyed wonderful, worry-free adventures with the help of the Port Adventures Desk.

    Have a magical voyage!
