What is the best day to go to Magic Kingdom? We are not doing park hopper tickets for the first time. We are doing four parks in four day Friday, Oct 11-Monday, Oct 14 2019. Suggestions for all parks, to which days, would also be appreciated. Thx!

Hi there, Kay! Oh boy... I sure wish I could conjure up Madame Leota's crystal ball to help with your answer right now! However, I do have a few thoughts about Park touring strategies for your upcoming trip this fall.

To me, the easiest day to plan is Friday, October 11. Magic Kingdom Park is hosting Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that night, and attendance at this Park is usually lighter on days when there is an evening party. Guests often decide not to use to a Park ticket during the daytime and instead wait until they can be admitted with their special event ticket at 4:00 PM. For this reason, I'd plan to go to the Magic Kingdom on your first day, and if you're an early bird, try to get there for extra, Extra Magic Hours at 7:00 AM!

You're going to need to set that Mickey Mouse wake up call because, for your second day, I think you should head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios. There's no doubt over it- this Park is going to be packed with Star Wars fans young and old alike for months to come. You're best bet to experience both Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land is to arrive at Park opening, which will be 6:00 AM for Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests!

Assuming you may need a day to sleep in, try touring Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on Sunday in the evening hours. As beautiful as Pandora – The World of Avatar is during the day, it is even more spectacular at night. Make sure to get those FastPass+ reservations for Avatar Flight of Passage, and then plan to stay for the 7:45 PM showing of Rivers of Light: We Are One.

One of my favorite fall events at Walt Disney World Resort is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival (don't miss the Maple Bourbon Cheesecake at the Cheese Studio booth- it's a game-changer!). Crowds are always heavier at the Festival on the weekends, so save your appetite for the last day of your trip, and visit Epcot on Monday.

Kay, we're so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey and I hope to see ya' real soon!
