What are the best character dining experiences with a 2 yr old and a 4 year old?

    Shannon:

Three meals come to mind that my kids have raved about long after the vacation has ended...

    1. Chef Mickey's: Our family went here last year to celebrate my son's 5th birthday.  He still talks about it and remembers the Mickey's waffles fondly!  The all-you-can-eat sweets and special attention from Mickey and the gang were worth the price. I recommend getting the last breakfast seating of the day so that you can enjoy Magic Kingdom before the crowds hit and then enjoy brunch. It's a much better value than dinner.
    2. Crystal Palace: If your little ones are fans of Tigger and Pooh, they'll have a blast in the "Pooh Parade," marching around with streamers with Pooh, Piglet and the rest. I love the restaurant because I think it serves up some of the freshest salads and foods of any of the the parks. (Don't miss the corn pudding and make-your-own ice cream sundaes!)
    3. Garden Grill: Although I thought the meal wasn't up to par with the likes of the food at other restaurants at Epcot, your kids will love the interaction with Chip and Dale as the restaurant looks down upon harvest scene from The Land attraction. The family-style skillet meal is still one my kids remember, even if it's not #1 in my book.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
    Whitney

p.s. If you've got girls, don't miss the princess meal at Akershus. I haven't eaten here in years, but it's a much better value than Cinderella's Royal Table.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
