    What would be the best way to carry suncreen, sunglasses, and items like that around in theme park and be able to ride on the rides without having to rent a locker? I did not know if fanny pack or draw string backpack. Thanks for your help and advice.

    Canna,

    Our family has become attached to using a very basic backpack. We can keep all our goodies in there, and as long as we have not weighed it down to much, and it is soft sided, it works well. A few things to think of;

    • We like a moderate to small sized backpack, so that it can be wedged into the bag holding nets on rides like Soarin'
    • We use one that has external drink holders, so that we can keep a couple bottles of water and fill them up as we go along during the day to save some money
    • Pack a few snacks in the bag, again to save some of that spending money
    • If it is going to be cold that evening, and a return to the resort is not in the plans, we pack light jackets
    I do put any liquids, like the sunscreen, in a ziploc bag inside of the backpack. That way if it opens accidentally, everything does not get messy.

    So I would suggest the backpack, over the fanny pack. It is easy on/easy off, it can hold more on a day where you might need that. Also, as shown here, it can be a crucial instrument to keeping your budget under control!

    Have a magical vacation!
