What are the best attractions and rides for two parents traveling with an infant and a toddler? I'm not sure which rides my 2 year old can ride even if one of us has to stay with baby. And what all baby can do or ride?

Hi, Lauren! Thanks for stopping by to see us again with your question. We always love it when our friends come by for another chat about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Lauren, you are going to have so much fun with your Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World! I know it can seem a little overwhelming to take on the Theme Parks with little ones, but don't worry - you got this!

The first thing you'll want to do is check out the list of Walt Disney World attractions and look for the ones listed for "Any Height." Those are rides, attractions, and shows that the whole family can enjoy, including both your two-year-old and your baby, and as you'll see, there are a lot of them! I'm really only seeing one or two attractions that your two-year-old may be tall enough to go on, while the baby is not. Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney's Hollywood Studios, for example, has a height requirement of 32 inches, which many two-year-olds would meet. I think for the most part you'll find that the "Any Height" rides are the ones that will fit your family best.

Lauren, on those busy Theme Park days, be sure to seek out the Baby Care Centers. There's one in each Park, and they're such a big help for parents of little ones. You'll find changing tables, high chairs, activity stations for your toddler, and even a quiet nursing mothers' room. Plus, if you run out of anything, there are basic supplies on hand for purchase. It's just a nice place to hang out for a while and recharge before getting back to the fun.

And while you're planning, have a look at Disney's handy guide for parents of preschoolers and little ones. There are tons of ideas for things to do with the youngest Guests.

I hope this helps you plan a magical Walt Disney World vacation with your family, Lauren. Please come see us again real soon - we're always here to help!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
