Where are the best parks/attractions to take an almost 3 yr old girl? We are going for long Easter Weekend, does WDW do anything special for the holiday? I heard there is an egg hunt with Mickey, do we have to sign up?

Hi, Joanna!  Each little one is different as to what they may want to see and do.  I have three princesses myself, and if I offered each of them today the chance to go to Walt Disney World, they would want me to be in three different places!

I always recommend the Magic Kingdom for little ones.  It's the park that really most exemplifies the magic of Walt Disney World, and there is so much to see and do for young children.  With the new Fantasyland, you'll probably want to visit Belle's Enchanted Story Time and Under the Sea with Ariel.  My girls have always loved Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction, and the new waiting area lets your little one play and have fun while you wait, instead of standing in line.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you are likely to run into some of your favorite Disney Junior characters.  There is a live Disney Junior stage show that kids can dance and sing along to, and you'll find character meet and greets.  My girls race to Toy Story Midway Mania when we arrive, as this may be their favorite attraction at any theme park.

For my youngest daughter, Disney's Animal Kingdom is a must do.  She loves the animals, and taking the safari ride through the savanna is one of her favorite things.  She likes to head over to learn about conservation and maybe brush a sheep or two at the petting zoo.

There are usually Easter egg hunts and other Easter themed activities throughout the parks and resorts.  EPCOT has run Easter egg hunts in previous years every 20 minutes for children ages 3-9.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
