What is the best way to get from Allstar Music to Grand Floridian and back for 8pm dinner reservation? Drive? Disney transportation? If Disney transportation, what is the best type?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!

Navigating the Walt Disney World Resort might seem like a daunting task given the resort’s massive size. But hakuna matata; no worries. Disney has you covered! From complimentary transportation, navigation tools, and pixie dusted options like arriving in Minnie Style to your destination, traveling throughout the resort has never been easier.

Susan, my personal preference when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort is to use my own vehicle. I love the convenience of being able to drive my family in our own car, especially since our youngest still uses a car seat. Your dining reservation will allow you to park at the resort for up to three-hours of complimentary parking, so you can enjoy your meal and explore the stunning property.

To see your other options of transport, you can do a quick search on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Search your destination, choose Get Directions, and browse the suggested transportation options. Be sure to allow yourself at least 90-minutes for travel so you don’t feel rushed during your vacation. The last option would be Disney’s Minnie Van Service, a door-to-door service that gets you closer than any other transportation option on property. Plus, they are so fun and cute! If you want to travel in style, the Minnie Vans are the way to go. For more information and fee details, use the Lyft app and choose the Minnie Van option.

I hope this helps answer your question. For any additional planning tips, please do come back and see us again.

    Have a magical day!
