BESIDES Pirate League/anything pirate can you tell me your best suggestions for a turning, on the trip, 9 yr old boy? Wanted to do something extra, (already getting a cake), going to all 4 parks and not Downtown on this Feb 2013 trip. Thanks!!!

    Hi Terri!

This sounds like a great birthday celebration trip.  I suggest considering the Wild Africa Trek in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It's relatively expensive, but is an amazing experience.  I have not met a guest who has done it who didn't absolutely enjoy it; that includes young children.  If you ever want to get up close and personal with the exotic animals in Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Wild Africa Trek is definitely the way to go!

Another, much less expensive, idea is to rent a Sea Raycer on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake.  You can rent one from any of the Magic Kingdom area hotels.  If you do this, you should rent a Sea Raycer for at least an hour to give you time to explore both bodies of water.  My two boys, ages 13 and 8, absolutely love doing this on every trip to Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
