Hi, besides the baby care center, where is a good place to nurse with a little privacy in each park (MK, AK, Hollywood, Epcot)? I’m just worried it may be difficult to go back and forth from the baby care center as much as I would need to. Thanks!

    Hi Jennifer!

This question is near and dear to my heart. I am a labor & delivery nurse, and was a nursing mama myself! I have nursed all over the Walt Disney World Resort, and I have some places that worked well for me. Remember, you are welcome to nurse your baby anywhere you feel comfortable at Walt Disney World!

First, I always consider indoor shows to be good options. They offer a seat, darkness and air conditioning. Good options would be Mickey’s PhilharMagic and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress at Magic Kingdom, Impressions de France and the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival at Epcot, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Finding Nemo -The Musical at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Quick-service dining restaurants are another great choice. Grab a free drink of ice water and a seat! I particularly like Columbia Harbor House and Sunshine Seasons because they offer air conditioning and you can often find a secluded table in the back.

Other great places I found were:

    Magic Kingdom
    * Play area at Dumbo the Flying Elephant
    * Shaded bench at Fort Langhorn on Tom Sawyer Island
    * Seating area across from Sunshine Tree Terrace just under the Swiss Family Treehouse

    Epcot
    * Benches at the exit of Soarin’ Around the World
    * Shaded Kidcot Fun Stop area in the Canada Pavilion
    * Seating areas and benches along World Showcase Lagoon, especially near Germany

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios
    * Seating outside Rock’n’Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Muppet Vision*3D, or around Echo Lake

    Animal Kingdom
    * Rivers of Light seating area during the day offers a little privacy and a lovely view of the water
    * Hidden seating area directly across from the Yak & Yeti restaurant and behind Drinkwalla
    * In Dinoland, off to the side of Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, there are a few hidden seats
    * Benches along the Maharaja Jungle Trek

I hope this gives you some ideas, Jennifer! Happy nursing!
