Hi. Bernie Thank for the help so far but I would like to know if low crowds in October are the same as low crowds in January. Thanks again for your help.

Generally speaking, the crowds on average are lower in October than in January.  However, that's mainly because of two events in January:  Marathon Weekend and Martin Luther King (MLK) Holiday Weekend.  I was at Walt Disney World this past January and it was very crowded over the MLK Weekend.

If you are trying to decide between the two then I definitely recommend going in October.  That's because there's also Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom on select nights and the International Food and Wine Festival over in Epcot.  Both are fabulous and not to be missed!

    Good luck with your decision!
