Hi Bernie, thanks for your advice on the touring plans, another question for ya. We'll be in WDW 9/15-9/22/12. Do you suggest going to parks with extra magic hrs? I have heard people suggest both. What do u think is my best bet? Our children r early risers

    Hi Nicole!

Thank you for sending me this question directly!

You are going during a relatively quiet time at Walt Disney World.  I say relatively quiet, because if you have never been there before, your first reaction might be "wow - these parks are busy"!  However, when compared to the really busy times of the year, it is modest.

Thus I don't think you have to worry that much about Extra Magic Hours.  If you were going during a busy time of the year, I would say go to the park with Morning Extra Magic Hours and then park hop to a different park by lunch time.  That's because the park that offers Extra Magic Hours does draw in a large number of guests, but most guests still don't get to the park until mid-morning or later.  If you weren't going to have a Park Hopper, then I would say just skip the park with Morning Extra Magic Hours.

However, for a mid-September trip, you really don't have anything to worry about.  The only park that I might skip in September on a Morning Extra Magic Hour day is Disney's Animal Kingdom.  That's because there aren't enough attractions there yet, and Morning Extra Magic Hours does make that park seem much more crowded than a regular day.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
