I’ve begun looking at dates for October 2020 and so much already seems to be booked out... is this usual so far out from travel for Walt Disney world? Is there a reason this time being so popular?

    Hi Julie!

I love that you are looking to plan ahead for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

While I do not have full knowledge as to why that time would be so popular, I can take a few guesses. If history repeats itself and based on some events that are happening in October 2019, I can assume the following for October 2020: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that can occur multiple nights in October. The Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival has dates that usually go into November and the runDisney Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has been known to have an October date.

I wish I could be more helpful, but if you need further assistance during the planning phase of your vacation planning, please feel free to let us know.

    Have a magical day!
