    Amy from MI Asked

Hello. I am beginning to plan our Disneyworld trip for the beginning of May. We will have our babies that will be 9 months. What should we plan to have to purchase for them? Do we have to buy park passes? I am so confused with all of this! And a 5year old?

Hi, Amy! Don't worry, you are in the right place! We are here to help you plan your vacation and feel honored you have stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions.

I have very good news, children under three years of age do not need an admission ticket, which means your babies will be good to go at the gate! When eating at a restaurant, they can share a meal with you, and will not need a meal of their own. When using FastPass+ for attractions, they can wait in line with you and will not need their own FastPass+. Your five-year-old, though, will have to have his own park tickets, his own FastPass+ selections, and will be able to order from the children's menu at dining locations.

At the Magic Kingdom Park, there are several rides and attractions without height restrictions that you can enjoy with your all your children. Among the most popular ones are, Dumbo The Flying Elephant, "it's a small world", and The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. They might also enjoy Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover and Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. For other more thrilling attractions such as Pirates of the Caribbean or Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, you might want to use the rider switch program.

Every park in the Walt Disney World Resort has a Baby Care Center where you and your babies will find privacy and comfort during a busy day at the parks. These facilities feature a private nursing room with rocking chairs, a changing room with tables and a unisex bathroom. They also have a feeding area with highchairs, a kitchen with a microwave, an oven, and a sink. The main room has a television, a table, and chairs. Access to these facilities is absolutely complimentary.

Amy, I wish you and your family a marvelous vacation! If you have any more questions, please come see us again!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
