Walt Disney World Halloween

I am beginning to dream about my next trip to WDW in 2019. I have hopper + water park tickets, and would love to visit at Halloween. Will it be warm enough?

    Hello Ann!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am excited to hear you are already planning a visit for 2019! Fall is an incredible time to of the year to visit, and you will find many great events such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special event at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the opportunity that adults have to also dress up and the entertainment at the party is amazing! Boo-to-You Parade is definitely my favorite parade and Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is the most amazing stage show.

As for the weather, be prepared for everything because this is, after all, Central Florida. I attended the party this October 20 and the temperature was very nice during that week with highs in the lower 80s, but the next week it got colder, with temperatures dropping to average lows of around 60 degrees. Water parks may close if the weather is too cold, so watch for updates and be prepared to change your plans.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel once again! I hope this helps you while planning.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
