Hi Moms....have a 2 bedroom villa booked at Disney's Alauni in Honolulu Feb 1-8, 2013 but want to change to a 1 bedroom but had to go on a waitlist cause of no rooms...............whats the chances of getting one being on the wait list?

Oh my goodness, Mary!  I'm so excited for you and your family.  I fell in love with Aulani when I first visited last September during the resort's grand opening.  This magical place combines the rich traditions of Hawaii with the wonders of Disney storytelling so beautifully.  I guarantee that it's going to make quite an impression on you.

Because Aulani is so new, there is no long track record on which we can rely to give us information about room availability at certain times of year.  All I can saw is that I have always been very lucky when I placed desired rooms on a waitlist; my waitlist requests came through every time.  I can't guarantee that you will have the same experience but I'll keep my fingers crossed that a one bedroom villa with a stunning view will become available for your family for your upcoming trip.  Be sure to check periodically to see if there have been any updates to your waitlist request.

    Good luck!
