Does the Beach Club Marketplace or the Market at Ale & Compass provide seating? The photos on the Disney web site appear to only show it as a place to buy the food and not provide seating.

Hey there, Paul. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my most favorite places to stay while at Walt Disney World. I actually stayed there a few weeks ago and had the best time. Hopefully, if you are staying there the Stormalong Bay Pool area is on your itinerary. It's the best! It's a 3 acre water complex featuring a shipwreck water slide, a swirling pool, lazy river, several hot tubs, and a sand bottomed pool! I spent every day there during my last Walt Disney World vacation and can't wait to go back. It's great!

I think you'll be happy to know that there are some tables for seating outside of the Beach Club Marketplace area. There's a little nook between the hotel lobby and the food court/gift shop area that has, I'd say, 8-10 tables where you can enjoy your meal. If those are full, there is also plenty of seating outside by the pool area but that can be a little bit of a walk from there so be sure to get your food in a bag for easy carrying if you plan to sit out there. It's been a while since I've walked over to the Yacht Club side of things but I do know that there is a seating area for The Market at Ale & Compass as well. In fact, I'd say there is more seating there than at the Beach Club Marketplace. If you happen over there for lunch, I hear the Spicy Italian Panini is delicious!

I hope this helps Paul. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask. Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
