Do the balloons deflate easily if they stay blown up? Also how many is recommended for a big bouquet for pictures?

    Hi Brandy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that you're already planning an Up worthy photo for your most magical 2019 Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

At some point between my first Disney trip as a child in the 90's and my son's a few years ago, these iconic (ear-conic?) latex Mickey ear balloons became encased in an outer, plastic balloon layer. Not only does the outer layer protect the inner balloon from popping, it also helps the actual Mickey balloon stay inflated longer. My family usually drives to The Most Magical Place on Earth, which means we can easily bring our big balloons home with us. These souvinEARs will stay in perfect, newly-inflated condition for a month, if not longer! And, should yours pop while at Disney, simply inform any balloon vendor for a magical replacement on Mickey. Bonus fun: Here's a neat balloon video from Disneyland that shows off these beautiful bubbles.

Pro Tips: There's a small variety of balloon options that range from colorful latex Mickeys, to the foil kind that feature, or are in the shape of, other characters. My favorite is a white Mickey balloon with an internal light that glows at night! The prices range between $9-$18 per balloon, depending on the style. And while a bigger bevy of bright balloons makes for a perfect picture, Disney's wonderful balloon vendors will allow guests to hold their complete bunch for a quick and complimentary photo opp.

Bonus tip: Be on the lookout for the most magical, will never-ever pop, Mickey balloon popcorn bucket! I found mine in July from a popcorn cart in Liberty Square, and I may or may not sometimes use it as a purse.

We'll See You in 2019, Brandy!
